Objectives of the scheme: -

  • To provide basic facilities to the slums / settlements of deprived castes and nomadic tribes

Terms of the scheme: -

  • The name of the Tanda Vasti in which the work is to be undertaken under this scheme should be mentioned in the master plan.

Nature of Benefit: -

  • To provide the following basic facilities to Tanda Vasti- 1) Electrification, 2) Drinking water, 3) Internal roads, 4) Gutters, 5) Toilets as well as community temples / libraries and where possible connecting roads to the main road.
  • Funds will be made available in proportion to the population.
