Provision of Grant for nomadic tribe-C category of Dhangar community for grazing during monsoon season for a period of four months from June to September.

To provide a source of sustainable income to the nomadic herdsmen of the state and their livestock in the traditional way of sheep / goat rearing and thereby help them to raise their social and economic status.
To tackle with the difficulties / problems faced by the shepherd families during the period from June to September.
To prevent the continuous decline in the number of sheep in the state or to increase it and provide self-employment opportunities.
To generate rural employment by promoting sheep / goat rearing business in the state

1. The beneficiary should be a student of Dhangar community belonging to nomadic tribe-C category.

This scheme will be implemented by the Animal Husbandry Department.
