Objectives of the scheme: -

  • To facilitate dormitory facilities at the district headquarters so that the children of Dhangar community belonging to the nomadic tribe-C category, who have been deprived of development for the last several years, can get a good education.

  • Assisting hostel students for post-matric and higher education.

  • To provide various facilities to the children in the dormitory for the development of cultural qualities and skill development of the students.

Terms of the scheme: -

  • The student should be a resident of the state of Maharashtra.
  • Students who want to take advantage of this scheme should be from Dhangar community.
  • The maximum annual income of a family is Rs. 1.00 lakhs.
  • Dhangar should be the caste certificate of the society issued by the competent authority.

Nature of Benefit: -

Free accommodation, meals, educational materials, health etc. will be provided in the hostel.
