Purpose of the scheme:

  • Bringing boys and girls from deprived castes and nomadic tribes into the mainstream of education,
  • To promote their academic progress and encourage them for higher education

Terms of the scheme: -

  • Students should be in the category of emancipated castes and nomadic tribes.
  • Must be the first in the state / division in class 10th and 12th examination from the category of deprived castes and nomadic tribes.

Nature of Benefit: -

  • Rs. 51,000 each, a memento and a certificate for the first-come, first-served students from the Deprived Castes and Nomadic Tribes category in the Class 10th and 12th examinations of the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Examinations.
